IOSH Managing Safely

Managing Safely is a course that has been designed and certificated by IOSH. Managers, Supervisors and Employees will gain the valuable knowledge required to manage safety in compliance with both their organisations policy and legislative requirements.

This highly interactive course uses animations, videos, games, individual and group exercises to give delegates an understanding of safety management.

Course completion ensures a good understanding of:

• Legal requirements

• Management responsibilities of health and safety

• Management systems and Policy

• Risk assessment and control

• Common workplace hazards

• Reactive and proactive monitoring techniques

• Management review and audit

Understanding of the course material is evaluated by means of a 45-minute written assessment paper consisting of 20 multi-format questions and a practical assessment

Delegates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments at the end of the course are awarded an IOSH certificate in Managing Safely.
